This tree has been in my collection for about 5 years and I believe it is about 20 years old.I found it growing in an overgrown field that was usually wet,the tree pulled right out of the ground-no digging!
I planted it in a 3 gallon nursery pot and in 2005 I took it to roy to work on .He basically cut it back really hard and had me wire the branches just to unify the direction of movement.
Turned out nice,this year I will begin to refine the deadwood. |
